We recently received both the advanced ABC & Number monsters books and they're absolutely fantastic.
The illustrations are so well done, colourful and the attention to detail in the drawings are absolutely delightful.
The number monsters is a super quirky book full of character and the creatures inside are super fun and full of life. As they go from 1 - 20 they've been an excellent addition in bringing our boy around to the teens especially and the illustrations are brilliant, quirky and fun. Each page introduces a new number monster as you go leading up to the big finale at the end.
The Advanced ABC has what i imagine as quite a cosy and comforting drawing style while using a nice collection of alliteration and fun sentences to help children become more familiar with the key letters on each page. The artistic illustrations compliment the writing very well and make it even more engaging for our boy. Each page looks as if there could be a card based edition to the book which I think would work wonders to help with learning the ABC's too. The last pages are a summary of each letter for a 'quick-guide' to the ABC's within.
I'd definitely recommend the books to anyone with a youngling after some education.
As an added extra, we also received a cute fridge magnet of some of the Number monsters as well as a lovely display card with a personal 'thank you' message from Emily too. All packaged very nicely so would also make for a superb gift for others.
