Trained as a Professional actress, singer and stage performer, Emily has vast experience both on stage and behind the scenes. After poor health demanded a career change, she trained to teach Fitness, Dance, G.P. Exercise Referral Classes and Yoga (including YogaBugs for children under 8 years old), with a specialisation in injury rehabilitation.
Now, Emily is returning to her first choice of career, but from behind the scenes, as a script writer. Completing her Masters in Writing for Script & Screen in Autumn 2025, will give her the professional standards to deliver across many screen writing genres.

Because she has disabilities (hEDS, JHS, PoTS 3, CFS, Osteoarthritis, Raynauds, Asthma, Annaphylaxis), Emily wants to create characters that reflect inclusion and diversity:
" My work embodies a culture of celebrating diversity and bringing joy through children's
literature. My recent endeavors include developing and illustrating "Big Dog, Little Dog or Someone In-Between," a children's book that champions inclusivity. Next, I will write narrative and character arcs for under-represented people in my films and television series."
Emily's next projects involve taking her stories into the medium of film and television to engage a larger audience across multiple genres.
