1994: When Jones messes up on a case, she is consigned to the cold case room run by another Rookie FBI Agent, Stix. Using her extensive scientific knowledge, she is forced to review cases that Stix has meticulously catalogued to try and solve what they can.
Stix's lateral approach is not the only thing that challenges her, as they delve into a world of bizarre and 'unsolvable' mysteries. Desperate to regain her status, she follows Stix into dangers that defy logic, nature and even time itself.
